The exhibition "We Are Now" explores the history of Jewish women and men in Frankfurt from the Enlightenment to the present day.

The new permanent exhibition at the listed Rothschild Palais builds on the Museum Judengasse, also conceived by SPACE4, which illuminates everyday Jewish life in the early modern period.
The former residence of the Rothschild banking family, built in the early 19th century and renovated in the 1980s, houses the exhibition across approximately 1,500 square metres. The successful combination of neutral spaces and historic interiors with original furnishings makes the Rothschild Palais both an authentic setting and an exhibit of the exhibition itself.
Our contribution included the integrated display case lighting as well as the focus lighting of the exhibited objects. The general lighting was planned by LKL.
