The interplay of daylight, the timber support structures, and precisely positioned artificial light creates a coherent overall atmosphere. The exhibits are presented attractively while also being protected for conservation purposes. Special daylight films reduce the high level of incoming light, enable controlled light guidance, and enhance the staging of the presentations.

The neighboring Swatch Drive-In Pavilion, with its circular shape and striking under-roof lighting, sets a distinctive accent within the campus. Its lighting concept picks up on the circular basic form: ring-shaped arrangements of luminaires with increasing diameter guide visitors from the entrance to the central pick-up window, underscoring the brand's distinctive architecture.
