The ground floor of the operational building of ewz, City of Zurich energy supplier, dating from the 1980s, was completely renovated as Phase 1. The lighting system was entirely renewed and updated to the current state of LED technology.

The lighting installation responds to the needs of New Work approaches in the interior design.
In addition to the daylight-flooded atrium, the spatial program includes an auditorium, open-plan offices, group and conference rooms as well as a cafeteria.
The project enables great flexibility both for the further planning process and for future adaptations.
Floors one through four will be renovated and redesigned accordingly from 2027 onwards.
